SA, not acknowledging my warranty upgrade/renewal
I upgraded my warranty today, however when I open Support Assist it is still showing that my warranty is expiring in 9 days, and is also not giving me the option for virus and malware removal. Everything on the website says that my warranty is extended, and upgraded to Dell Premium Support Plus. Is there a way to sync the two?
Thanks!

I got this checked by the Support Assist team & have confirmed that with the new Support Assist version the updated warranty will show once the current warranty expires.
The SA application will sync(for warranty) with the server only on the last day of the warranty.

I have the same question. Is it because the current warranty have to end before the new extended warranty starts?

No, it should be seamless.

Thats what I suspected also. The extended warranty is correct on the dell website under my service and support page, but not in the SA. I extended my warranty (same as the current one) a few days ago so how long should SA take to sync the new warranty information?
It seems strange that I maybe have to uninstall and install the SA program in order to get the correct information?

Thank you for your message. Sometimes that application may not sync or may take too long for the warranty to be reflected when the warranty is updated.
Please uninstall all entries of Dell Support Assist reboot the computer. Install Support Assist from this link reboot the system & complete all Windows update.
For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the Service tag, registered name & email address.
How to find the Service tag

I post my reply here also:
I just tried to uninstall all entries of SA rebooted, installed via your link, rebooted and logged in to SA with my Dell profile. The problem presist.
Beside the wrong message SA works with no problems.
My current warranty expires on jun 28 and my new extended warranty (the exact same) starts on jun 30. That's two days after. Can this be the reason, that my current warranty have to expire and then starts on jun 30? A similar case to mine in this tread: https://www.dell.com/community/SupportAssist/Alienware-17-R5-Support-assist-is-showing-a-message-that-it-will/m-p/7302198#M87917
