PCI Status Fail Error Code D0702

I noticed when running Hardware Scan from SupportAssist version 4.6.3 on my new Dell XPS 8960 with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super graphics card, it reports two faults:
PCI Status Fail,
Error Code List
-PCI Status Test - D0702
Wireless Network Card Fail
PCI Status Tests
-PCI Status Test - D0702
All other test passed.
Searching through Google it seems to be an old and ongoing problem with SupportAssist's various Versions.
One of the threads from the Community advised that I run a Diagnostic from the F12 menu, which returned "all clear".
Just wondering if there is any update on Support Assist recording a ""failure"".
Thanks for your help and support,

I have moved your post to the S.A. section of the forums.

This is an old problem, but I've not seen this specific problem reported recently.

Using F12 is probably better indicator of a problem and none found there.

Hi Tedco:

It's likely your D0702 "error" is just another one of the harmless "for information only" Dxxxx and Wxxxx diagnostic codes that Dell keeps promising to remove in a future version of SupportAssist. These codes typically occur when a hardware driver update creates a registry entry that is "not as per industry standard" and is subsequently flagged during a SupportAssist hardware scan.  See Dell employee NikhilKiroula's explanation in Mclai's Feb 2022 topic XPS 8940 - PCIE Express - WPE01-EXC.

As long as your F12 ePSA (enhanced Pre-boot System Assessment)*** hardware diagnostics from your Dell BIOS (including an Advanced Test of your PCI bus) did not generate an error code and your XPS 8960 is able to connect to the internet via your WiFi/wireless network card then it should be safe to ignore the D0702 diagnostic code generated during your SupportAssist hardware scan.

Thank you for your help and replies.

I'll ignore this "error" and just run from the F12 menu options.

Thanks again @ispalten and @lmacri
