Inspiron G5 15 5500, Support Assist OS Recovery

Hi, I recently bought a Dell G5 15 5500. After few weeks the HDD somehow stopped working. It wouldn't even spin. So I replaced it with a new SSD. But I have also lost the stock Support Assist OS Recovery Partition. And if I use the dell OS recovery tool it restores the windows ok but I have lost my Office subscription and windows wont even activate. Maybe everything was stored in the HDD. Please is there any way to get back the OEM image which came with the PC. And also I don't want to use cloud update in OS recovery I want to use the Local Restore which was in the HDD. Because if you do cloud restore The Alienware command center and many other dell applications wont be installed. I can install some but the dell Mobile Connect and My Dell application(I need it to register my PC) wont install. It asks me to redeem a code. long story short i want the original factory support assist os recovery partition and i want the local restore option in it.

Thank You

UNFORTUNATELY NO

Only stock HDDs have that image.

In case of Hard drive replacement Dell will send you a Hard drive with Factory image on it.

But even that wouldn't have stock Factory image on it.

Coming back to your Issues,

Do a clean operating system install using Microsoft Image. Install all windows updates, all dell updates install all Dell applications. Now when you perfectly working computer, create a system image and save it somewhere else like an external HDD.

Speaking about your activation issue : After windows 8, Dell has started storing your windows activation information on Motherboard, so a hard drive replacement or OS reinstall can not cause it to loose activation. Check if you are running the same edition of windows (pro/home) as it was originally shipped. Run activation troubleshooter.
