Inspiron 3580, SupportAssist not working

I cannot uninstall this app or install the newer Dell SupportAssist version. I really need to update my drivers. If somebody can help I will really appreciate it.

Hi Hashendra:

What is your Windows operating system (if Win 10 please include the version and build shown at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications), and have you updated your BIOS to v1.15.0 (rel. 04-Oct-2021) that is currently recommended on the Drivers & Downloads tab of the support page <here> for your Inspiron 3580?

When you say that you can't uninstall SupportAssist do you mean that you see an error message when you try to uninstall SupportAssist from Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features, or is Dell SupportAssist missing from your list of installed programs?  If you are able to launch SupportAssist, what version is currently installed [check at Options (gear icon) | About]?

Is the Dell Update v4.3.0 application installed on your system, and if so is this utility able to detect available driver and software update for your system?  What happens when you click the blue "Check for Updates" button on the Drivers & Downloads tab of the support page <here> for your Inspiron 3580?

Note that Dell employee DELL-Chris M's has posted instructions for performing a clean re-install of SupportAssist at SA Uninstall / Reinstall and pinned that thread at the top of this forum board. However, those instructions require you to uninstall all SupportAssist-related software (e.g., including Dell SupportAssist, Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin for Dell Update, Dell SupportAssist Remediaiton, etc., if installed) before reinstalling the latest version of SupportAssist, so I'm not sure those instructions will be helpful right now if you currently see an error message when you try to uninstall SupportAssist from Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features.
