Hi Coughing7colors:

Please see Policywonk's 15-Feb-2025 Supportassist driver error under Windows 11 24H2 after the update on 7390 2 in 1 about the same pcdsrvc_x64.pkms driver error.  There is a link in that topic to employee DELL-Nat M's 03-Apr-2024 instructions <here> for a clean reinstall of SupportAssist (currently v4.6.3, rel. 24-Dec-2024), but Policywonk eventually decided to simply remove SupportAssist from their system.

If a clean reinstall of SupportAssist v4.6.3 does not solve your pcdsrvc_x64.pkms driver error please let us know your Dell computer model, your Windows OS [if Win 10 or Win 11 open a Run dialog box (Windows key + R) and enter winver to find the version and OS build number] and BIOS version.  To find your current BIOS version open a Run dialog box, enter msinfo32 to open your System Information, and look for the field named "BIOS Version / Date" in the summary.

Also let us know if the service warranty for your Dell computer has expired yet.

Hi, Did this issue get resolved? I have been having this issue for over a month and not been able to resolve it. Memory/Core isolation has been turned off.

Hi Dell_User_1:

My 20-May-2025 reply has disappeared from this topic (sent to moderation??) so I'll re-post my comments.

As requested in my 10-Mar-2025 post <above>, please provide your Dell computer model, Windows OS (including version and OS build number) and BIOS version.  What Dell SupportAssist version is currently listed at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features, and has your Dell support warranty expired yet.

Did you try a clean reinstall of SupportAssist as instructed <here> by employee DELL-Nat M? I'd suggest you uninstall SupportAssist with Microsoft's Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter mentioned in DELL-Nat M's instructions, restart your system (do not skip this step), and reinstall with a fresh copy of the latest SupportAssistInstaller.exe installer downloaded from https://downloads.dell.com/serviceability/catalog/SupportAssistinstaller.exe]

NOTE: I uninstalled all SupportAssist-related software from my Inspiron 5584 after my service warranty expired (they were too buggy and consumed too much RAM and CPU) and the SupportAssist release notes at https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/en-us/product/dell-supportassist-pcs-tablets/resources/manuals have not been updated since SupportAssist v4.6.1 was released in November 2024, so I don't know what version of SupportAssist (v4.8.2 or v4.8.3?) the latest SupportAssistInstaller.exe is currently installing.
