Don't Use Dell Support
The Dell Service Center cannot be trusted with your computer. I sent mine in under warranty for an issue that wouldn't allow me to lift my laptop without the screen freezing. Mind you the laptop is less than a year old. After spending 2 weeks longer on it then they said they would they sent it back "fixed". Turn on the computer and it works for two days, then all of a sudden won't turn on. No LED light for charging. Nothing. But now since it took the service center so long, my laptop is out of warranty. After arguing with customer service for a half hour I finally got them to cover ANOTHER fix under warranty. Sent it in. Three weeks later I get it back and it "works" for two days (the thing will now restart if I allow the screen to enter sleep mode) before completely erasing everything on my computer and refusing to start up fully. If I did my job this terrible I would be fired, although after reading many reviews of Dell's notoriously terrible customer service I guess I shouldn't be shocked. Where's the accountability for this company that sent me a faulty product and now I have to send my laptop to someone I trust (hint: not Dell) and spending $200 to fix the mess that Dell created. Pathetic.
