Dell Support Assist
Inspiron 15 5510/5518
I have been unable to install support assist for over 18 months. I hav done everything suggested by Dell or various forums. Finally today I had a two hour session with Dell support who repeated everything I had previously done and requested information to be supplied several times during the chat which I had already supplied during the outset. Finally after 2 hours it was suggested that I reset Windows losing all apps except those shipped with the pc in 2021!
This is, of course a totally unacceptable solution so I will struggle on without any easy way to check for Dell updates etc.
Very Dissappointing for someone who has been a Dell user since 1998. Plus one of the first resellers in the Pacific!!
