Hi everyone,
The latest SupportAssist release includes a fix for the alert: “We can’t reach the internet right now. Let’s get you back online.”
Please update SupportAssist to the newest version and let us know if it resolves the issue.

First, reset the SupportAssist network configuration and update it to the latest version.

Hi everyone,
Dell has published an official article addressing the issue where SupportAssist v4.10.x displays the message:
"We can’t reach the internet right now. Let’s get you back online."
This message is invalid and can safely be ignored. Your internet connection is not affected.
Steps for resolution:
Note: This issue occurs on Windows 10 systems due to a glitch in network connectivity validation. It does not impact scheduled scans or driver recommendations.

@DELL-Nat M The SupportAssist v4.10.5 update, scheduled for November 2025, which will permanently fix this issue is STILL not available & only the current useless bugged version is available for download...
When will we have the repaired version please? Why is it taking forever for Dell to fix this glaring issue please? Shocking that it is taking so long.

@JRUK nope. not looking good. Dell not coming through on what they said "Wait for the SupportAssist v4.10.5 update, scheduled for November 2025, which will permanently fix this issue.".

Hello There, no matter if message is ignored or not, "Check for updates" function cannot be even checked or started.
Still new version, or fix, of SupportAssist is not available. Could you please assist here?
Thank you!

Hi D4rtz:
Windows 10 users posting in gcraig0001's 02-Dec-2025 topic SupportAssist 4.10.1 will not update using Dell Update Package for version 4.10.5 or 6, Windows 10 are now reporting that SupportAssist v4.10.6 has been released and seems to solve their "can't reach the internet" problem when checking for available updates.

@user_a1b2d0 SupportAssist v4.10.6 was and is useless. Still can't check for updates because no internet connection is reported. i followed the instruction here: "Completely uninstall SupportAssist" before installing v4.10.6. It didn't help. Still reporting no internet connection.

@DELL-Nat M This error has now been replaced by the "This is taking too long please restart your PC" message 🙄
