Dell SA version 3.12.3 messed up > Dell techHub

XPS 15 L501X
So, yeah. Dell messed up again. Finally SA auto updated after several month with update issues. And when it does it mess up the system with freezes and bluescreen. On my Alienware 17R3 I can still run SA and HW scan, but with fans going on full speed and freezes for a second when running the scan. This is caused by the service Dell TechHub, that have replaced the hardwarescan. But on my dell XPS 15 from 2010 this service caused instant bluescreen. So I have to set it to manual so it wont start after boot. So heads up if you are experiencing similar issues.
Image of my services not causing bluescreen:

Hi ThomasAAT:
What is the computer model and Windows OS of the older machine that BSODs when the Dell TechHub service is running [if Win 10 or Win 11 please include the edition (Home, Pro, etc.), version and OS build number shown at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications]. If you open a Run dialog box and enter msinfo32 to open your System Information what is the current BIOS version shown in the field titled "BIOS Date/Version"? The icon in your original post suggests this older machine is a XPS 15 L501X.

Just a follow up; Windows 10 stop code is "critical process died".
The Critical process died issue appears when a critical component of Windows detects that data has been modified when it should not have been. So Dell TechHub is touching something it shouldn't and triggers the error. On my AW17 it triggers the fans to hit max speed and makes the system freeze when it happens. So just have to wait even longer for a fix from Dell og MS Windows.

Hi ThomasAAT:
The support page <here> for the XPS 15 L501X says that Dell does not support Windows 10 or above on this model and Dell has not released any software or driver updates for this model since at least 2013, including your current Dell XPS L501X System BIOS vA08 (rel. 01-Aug-2011). Even if you've managed to upgrade to 64-bit Win 10 Home v22H2 and meet the minimum system requirements posted <here> for SupportAssist v3.12.3 (i.e., you have installed .NET Runtime v6.0.9 or higher) I'm not sure it's reasonable to expect SupportAssist v3.12.3 to run correctly with the older BIOS and hardware components in this machine.
The Dell TechHub service was introduced in the previous SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 per Dell employee jbilinski's 28-Jun-2022 post in Admiral1989's SupportAssist - Installation Failed Message. Did the previous SupportAssist v3.11.4.29 run correctly on your XPS 15 L501X, and if so were you still using 64-bit Win 10 Home v22H1 at the time?

I am aware of the fact that this PC is long overdue, but with new Samsung evo ssd it will live some time yet, probably to the end of support 2025.
The previous version of SupportAssist I had was 3.10.x on this and my AW17R3. That version did not use techHub, so this is the first SA version with this service on my systems and what is causing the blue screen on xps, and the freezing on the alienware. So the not supported state on the xps is not relevant in this particular case. The previous version of SupportAssist ran without issues on both. I was then on 22H1, but the resent upgrade to 22H2 should not have made any difference as it just was a build number bump and minor change to the OS.
