DELL Command Update CLI BIOS password failure
Hi.
I have no idea under which forum to post it, if needed please move to correct subforum. Thanks.
I'm trying to silently configure DELL Command Update on our company laptops and have been successful until recently when I started getting errors that the BIOS password is incorrect.
I set BIOS password for all system using DELL Command Configure BIOS package that has the SetupPwd value. This was working just fine until very recently, like a month or so.
Now if I try to run the dcu-cli.exe with password, /configure -silent -autoSuspendBitLocker=enable -userConsent=disable -biosPassword="xxxxxx", I get errors that password is incorrect. But I know is not true because if I try the same password manually in BIOS, it works.
What else do I need to check why does this happen? Is it something with the MASK when exporting the BIOS exe configuration?
Thanks in advance
