Can't get Supportassist to run under Windows 10

My PC (Inspiron 660s desktop) can't be upgraded to Windows 11. In mid-December last year Supportassist wouldn't run. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. It starts to install and says 'We're getting things ready for you.'  Progress stays at 0%. After 15 min. or so, the screen disappears. It is not installed. I have repeated this scenario many times. Is it possible to obtain a version of Supportassist that will run under Windows 10?
