9/12/2024 SUPPORT ASSIST NOT WORKING NOT DOWNLOADING ALIENWARE R16
tried to run support assist last week hardware scan would not run using full system scan.
uninstalled and tried to reinstall. now it jut hangs while downloading!
whats going on?

when launching the install i run as admin and it launches, says we are getting things ready for you then times out

update. Got it to download and install but now hardware scan is failing.

I'm having the same issue on a brand new ( 3 weeks ) pretty decked out R16. The only issue I've had is with Dell support assist. They have replaced processor ( to be honest not sure why, but not going to say no) and have spend 3 days on phone with level 3 tech who can't get it to work. No other issues with pc at all, play tons of games, office 360. Alien command center is buggy as well, going to guess dell related. Have open ticket and expect more phone time on wed, will update if they can fix.

All scans are failing. No Solution found.. Does Dell support Exist?

Spent four hours online with two different Dell engineers and they still couldn't fix it. I think we'll just have to wait for an update.

I am also having problems with this. I have a Dell G16 that I bought 3 months ago. Any of the services are working. I hope they find a solution.

Dell support uninstalled SA and redownloaded it. Hardware scan started working, but driver downloads still will not work.
