Windows 2008 R2 RTM Compatibility Question - Host Agent for Windows
Has anyone been able to install the Host Agent for Windows on Windows 2008 R2 RTM?
What version of CC worked? Any other info?

Windows 2008 R2 RTM is currently not supported in ControlCenter. It is a target for support in a future CC 6.1 Update Bundle.

Hi,
From the 6.1 Support Matrix on powerlink support for the Master and Host agents on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Core was added October 2010 with UB7 so its already supported in UB8.
If its a fresh install of Master and host agent From page 83 of the ControlCenter 6.1 Planning & installation guide "For ControlCenter 6.1, Windows Native Install Tools is the ONLY method that should be used to deploy Windows Master Agents…." See “Installing Agents with Windows Native Tools” on page 546 for deploying Windows Master Agents with native Tools of the attached p&I guide
From powerlink goto
Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > ControlCenter 6.x
On this page scroll down to the section ControlCenter 6.1 Native Installation Packages this is where you will find the Native Installation Package contains
ControlCenter 6.1 UB8 Native Installation Package - All OS Components
Regards
