Why does a NSX device appear as a not-fully-discovered CLARiiON in ECC?

We recently installed a NSX82 in our environment and while the NSX does appear in ECC as an NSX device, there is also a CLARiiON device that appeared. However, the CLARiiON appears as a partially discovered array and it impacts the StorageScope reports for our CX farm. Is there a way in ECC to have the entire integrated NSX device appear as an NSX and not a CLARiiON?

I think the answer is simply because you can not directly manage an integrated array with ECC. I think the answer to fully managing it is no - but maybe someone from EMC support can shed some light on this.
