VMware ESX machines

To which windows host do i need to install the vmware agent.Can you please explain me.

The first thing you need to do is push out the VMware agent in CC Console to a Windows host. Thereafter, the agent can discover individual ESX Servers directly (ESX Server tab) or multiple ESX Servers (VirtualCenter Server tab) in Discover > Assisted > ESX Server in the Console.

No ControlCenter agent is installed directly on the ESX Server itself.

You can install the VMware agent on any Windows host (including the CC infrastructure server) in your environment.
