questin about Threshold for FA, DA, Devs Stats
Hi
My name is Eric from Mexico City
I'am configuring the Threshold for FA, DA, Devs Stats, but I don't know what values I need to configure to get a good stats, I mean, I have a DMX 4 and I need to get all stats from the FA, DA, DEVS, etc.
for example do you know how many i/o per second do i need to configure for my FA stats, or Write % for my FA, DA, etc.
could you help me please?
Let me tell you that I need that information only for stats no for alarms.
Best regards

If you have performance manager, you can take 30days woth of data and figure the average for all the stats you want to monitor. That can become your baseline for performance.
EMC offers a class on performance manager that is very good. I also remember seeing a post of a PDF called Symmetrix Performance in Pictures - which might be a good starting point as well.

I have uploaded a copy of EMC ControlCenter Performance Manager: The Symmetrix In Pictures to ftp://ftp.emc.com/outgoing/wladoc/. Please note that the document was published in Jan 2004.
