Hi ArsalanAli,

It may be best to open an SR with Support for this issue as the Performace Statistics DCP is enabled and the switches in question are part of the "Selected Connectivity Device" within the Apply To tab of the DCP

Attach the following information and logs to the SR when opened

Provide the exact build of ControlCenter 6.1 installed ? Help > About EMC Ionix ControlCenter

The firmware version installed on the E-DCXB Directors?

Confirm if you are using the standalone Brocade SMI agent or the SMI Integrated Agent which comes with with CMDCE to discover the switches along with current version installed?

Be sure that 'Console Logging' is enabled/selected before lauching the ControlCenter console (this is enable on the GUI that appears asking for Server Host Name and Server Port Number)

Select the switches in the left hand tree panel and then select the performance > table view.

A) From the host were the Console is launched collect the following logs:

%USERPROFILE%\ecc\data\ \console.trc

%USERPROFILE%\ecc\data\ \consoleLaunch.log

%USERPROFILE%\ecc\data\ \console.trc.x.gz

%USERPROFILE%\ecc\data\ \ecc_console.ini

B) From the host were ControCenter repository is installed:

%RAMBBACKUPDIR%\exp\rambdb_exp_notdedmp.zip

C) From the host where the ControlCenter Server service is installed:

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\ecc_inf\data\ \data\server.trc

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\ecc_inf\data\ \data\server.trc.x.gz

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\ecc_inf\data\ \data\ecc_server.ini

D) From the host where the FCC Agent is installed and primary for the above switches:

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\exec\EGN610\EGN.log

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\exec\EGN610\EGN_Bx.log.gz

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\exec\EGN610\EGN.ini

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\exec\EGN610\EGN_Err.log

%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\exec\EGN610\EGN_Bx_Err.log

E) the ESNapi logs from the FCC Agent host

Esnapi logs should be located at: %%/ECC/exec/esnapi/data

They're called trace_x and trace_y

F) Brocade Save from one of the problem director Switches

G) Brocade agent SMI agent logs if Standalone is used

Collecting Support Information from the Brocade SMI agent–

a) Launch the Brocade SMI Agent Configuration Tool.

b) Click Collect Information in the menu tree. The content pane displays

the current path for the zip file.

c) To change the path of the zip file, type a new path or click Select

Folder to browse for the location.

d)  Click Apply.

The zip file would contain the following files

  1. provider.xml
  2. jserver.properties
  3. SMIAgentconfig.xml
  4. cimom.properties
  5. SystemInfo.txt

CIMOM and provider log files (test0.log - test 20.log.

OR

If the SMI Integrated Agent is used

From the SMI Agent host running CMDCE, start the CMDCE Server Console as follows:

Start > Program Files > CMDCE x.x > Server Console
Select the Technical Support Information tab from the several tabs displayed in the Server Console.

Accept the default path or provide a path, and click the Capture button. A zip file will be created at the selected
or default  location with a DCFM-SS-date format

Thanks

Conor
