on the fly DCP?

Is there a way in ECC 5.2 to run a DCP (Data Collection Policy) on the fly? Lets say the NAS DCP runs at 01:00 in the morning. But at 9:28am I decide I want to run it again (for whatever reason), what is the process of running it once at 9:28am? Or do I have to create a new DCP scheduled for 9:30am to run and once it runs, delete the new DCP?
