Officer to Log/View/Update Calls relating to Specific Organization

Hello All,

Is it possible to grant permission to Officer so that he/she can log/view/update calls related to a specific organization?

e.g. Officer1 belongs to Organization1. Officer1 logs into infraEnterprise Application or the Customer Portal and he/she can log/view/update calls relating to Organization1 only. Officer1 cannot view/update calls belonging to other organizations.

You can achieve this in the Service Desk app by partitioning (see the Infra 8 Partitioning Reference Guide). To limit what they can see in the customer portal, you will need to set that in the portal role definition.

Dear Richard,

Thanks for the response.  The problem is that the system we are using was implemented about 2 years ago and it is not partitioned I was thinking on the same lines but it is very difficult to setup partitioning afterwards as the system is already setup and in production for 2 years.

The system is supporting multiple companies.  We want to grant permission only to a specific officer for a specific organization. The officer should be able to log/view/update calls relating to only specific organization but not all.

Do you know of any other ideas?
