Master agent install on Cluster envoronment

Hi,

Looks like you have invalid character present with your host name in one of your files called MGA.ini and CTG.ini
MGA.ini and CTG.ini

C or D:\ECC\exec\MGA520\MGA.ini
C or D:\ECC\exec\CTG.ini

Open both files in notepad and check Server Host = "your host name" with no other characters

Starting and stoping agent : Go to Computer management-->services and applications --> services -- EMC controlcenter master agent (right click and say "start" and "stop")

Thanks for the response. I checked the MGA.ini and CTG.ini and below is how it has been specified,

Server Host = phosrm01.fbfs.com

I checked the case, the issue is the same but looks like we should find one more solution.

try to stop/restart the agent and see if that helps.

Try native install of master agent. You can find it on emc power link.

Delete the com files and restart the agents. If the server image was copied chances are the com files are present from the source host .
C:\WINNT\ECC --> Com and lck files. Chances are if you open the com file this will display the host name from the source server.
