Master agent install on Cluster envoronment
Hi All,
We bought up a windows cluster with 4 Windows 2003 hosts and we are trying to install master agent on all the hosts in the cluster.
We installed the master agent on the first host and we installed the master agent on the second host and the master agent in the first host is down, it is not in the services or the processes.
Could anybody explain what the issue is and how this can resolved.
Thanks,

Looks like you have invalid character present with your host name in one of your files called MGA.ini and CTG.ini
MGA.ini and CTG.ini
C or D:\ECC\exec\MGA520\MGA.ini
C or D:\ECC\exec\CTG.ini
Open both files in notepad and check Server Host = "your host name" with no other characters
Starting and stoping agent : Go to Computer management-->services and applications --> services -- EMC controlcenter master agent (right click and say "start" and "stop")
more details ---> emc170592

Thanks for the response. I checked the MGA.ini and CTG.ini and below is how it has been specified,
Server Host = phosrm01.fbfs.com
I checked the case, the issue is the same but looks like we should find one more solution.

C:\WINNT\ECC --> Com and lck files. Chances are if you open the com file this will display the host name from the source server.
