How to view SPC-2 and os2007 flags in StorageScope?

Hi,

I was trying to generate a report that shows which flags are enabled on FA ports on our Symmetrix'

Got this:

Under the field:

Array Ports.SCSI Flags - Fibre port:

Tagged_Commands(T)_ Linked_Commands(L)_ Sync_Transfer(Y)_ Wide_Transfer(W)_ Common_Serial_Number(C)_ Disable_Q_Reset_on_UA(D)_ SCSI_3(SC3)

and under:

Array Ports.FA Flags:

Hard_Addressing(H)_ Init_Point_to_Point(PP)_ Unique_WWN(UWN)_ VCM_State(VCM)

While looking via symcli (symcfg list -fa XX -p Y -v) [same FA port as STS]:

got this:

SCSI Flags

  {

    Negotiate_Reset(N)           : Disabled

    Soft_Reset(S)                : Disabled

    Environ_Set(E)               : Disabled

    HP3000_Mode(B)               : Disabled

    Common_Serial_Number(C)      : Enabled

    Disable_Q_Reset_on_UA(D)     : Enabled

    Sunapee(SCL)                 : Disabled

    Siemens(S)                   : Disabled

    Sequent(SEQ)                 : Disabled

    Avoid_Reset_Broadcast(ARB)   : Disabled

    Server_On_AS400(A4S)         : Disabled

    SCSI_3(SC3)                  : Enabled

    SPC2_Protocol_Version(SPC2)  : Enabled

    SCSI_Support1(OS2007)        : Enabled

  }

Fibre Specific Flags

  {

    Volume_Set_Addressing(V)     : Disabled

    Non_Participating(NP)        : Disabled

    Init_Point_to_Point(PP)      : Enabled

    Unique_WWN(UWN)              : Enabled

    VCM_State(VCM)               : Enabled

    OpenVMS(OVMS)                : Disabled

    AS400(AS4)                   : Disabled

    Auto_Negotiate(EAN)          : Enabled

  }

As you can see the T, L, Y, W flags do not exist in SYMCLI output, and the SPC2 and os2007 flags are missing from the STS.

Same for the EAN and Hard_addressing flags (but they are currently not relevant to me)

Is there anyway to view them?

Thanks,

Maxim

It looks like StorageScope missed four flags: Two for SCSI flags (SPC2 and OS2007) and two for FA flags (AS4 and EAN). Please open a case and we will fix this.

Thank you for taking a look at this, Sarah.  I have a service request open and will work on getting an Engineering ticket opened so this can get fixed.
