How to remove SYMAPI Server under Agents view

Hello,

we decided to monitor some server not with Common Mapping Agent but with own host agents. I first have removed permission to manage from this servers and "no suiteable active agents" is displayed. Our mapping agent is diplayed with state active, disabled. But after restart of mapping agent I see lot`s of messages of this servers in EGZ.log (log of CMA). Is this normal?! Furthermore there are lots of alerts displayed in Alerts View and SYMAPI Server entries is shown in Agents View.

Hi Andreas,

SYMAPI Server will appear in the Agents view after a proxy discovery of a host. This is expected behaviour. It should appear with a red question mark - this simply means ControlCenter cannot determine its status (ControlCenter does not monitor SYMAPI Server).

Re messages in the EGZ.log - one would have to see exactly what is being logged before coming to a conclusion as to what is causing them.
