I have never worked with the SCOM product but here is some info which might help...
The latest CC 6.1 Support Matrix lists support for SCOM 2007. However, its integration capabilities are very limited (can't format traps, no discovery/status changes). Previously, one had to convert the SCOM *.xml format to *.akm format (like MOM) but this limitation has been removed from recent revs of the Support Matrix.
Both MOM and SCOM are passive integrations. Check the 6.1 Integration Packages Product Guide on Powerlink for more details.

As pointed out in a few other threads, you can actually forward your SNMP traps to any target that can receive and interpret them. We are doing this with BMC Enterprise Manager, and before that we were doing it with HP OpenView (after HPOV support was dropped for the Integration packages). As Seamus pointed out, you will only get passive integration, and you will need to "teach" the target system to interpret the traps it receives, but it can be done.
