How to discover a device that is NAT'd

I've been working with Ionix for a bit, but consider myself new. I need to discover a device that is NAT'd outside of our network. It doesn't seem to want to discover, although I can ping and snmpwalk it from the ampm server. Has anyone done this, and what are the tricks?

Check to make sure that there is an IP Tag group for the managed IP address that you need to discover, and an exclusion list for all of the overlapping  IP addresses on the LAN interfaces of the other devices that may be in conflict.
