How to delete erroneous interval/daily archive

Hello guys,

i had to reinstall Solution Enabler due to to a bug with DMX4 Enginuity code and solutions enabler not collecting I/O stats from that version of Enginuity. When i re-installed SE, Performance Manager created this huge spike in performance view, obviously these are erroneous numbers but it's now skewing my weekly results. How can i delete performance information for this specific date ?

Hi,

You will need to drill down directly into your Archives folder on your WLA Archiver agent host and find the offending btp file for the object and date in question.

Séamus,

i've tried deleting that offending btp file for that particular date ..but it does not reflect in weekly archive, it still shows this huge spike. So it seems that's it's already been rolled-in into the weekly btp. I've opened a ticket and the first thing supported recommended was to delete the btp file. I've told the tech my results and he is researching how to "purge" that date from the weekly archive. Got any ideas ?

To be honest, I'm not really sure how the data can be purged if the applicable btp has already been deleted.

Continue to drive the SR via Support - they may need to contact Engineering for an answer, if necessary.

support came back with the answer that once daily btp has been rolled-into a weekly btp file, there is no way to purge that data. Bummer
