How to clear the specific alert in ECC

i have critical error saying
symmtrix XXXX: KB/sec read is 84970.546218

whats that number means i/o activity per some unit of time ( sec /min ) ..
i have whole bunch of alerts and i go through each of them , i try to
remove specific alert one by one ...i didn't find any thing in order to clear
one thing at a time , i rightclick the alert in control center GUI..i tried close and refresh
option , still those not working to remove the specific alert entry..how to acomplish this ??

Right-click and select "Alerts->Clear Alert for All Users" to remove this alert from the ECC console.

If you are not considered with this amount of I/O you may want to right click on the alert and select "Alert->Edit Alert Template..." to modify these values to something more pertinent or if you are not interested in receiving this alert at all select "Alert->Disable Definition" to get rid of this.

Edit it and set it to 185MBps or so. An FA port can easily handle that, so 85MBps is not even critical IMHO.
I've seen values of over 200MBps....

Hi ,
i recived same issue here with 23133.37395 , can someone explain what is this i like to undertand why its a critical ?
