Hi, i am having performance issues with a host connected to a CX3-40 and i want to use performance manager to identify the
bottlenecks. Can somebody please tell me how to use PM to identify where bottlenecks are on the host? Thanks

Neddy,
The information below was pulled directly from the ECC Console Online Help. I have placed this here to get you started. Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Functionality for performance analysis is provided with Performance Manager. Performance analysis can be done for Host agents for AIX,HP-UX, Linux, Solaris and Windows as well as Storage and switch agents.
The data for each system is collected by the associated Controlcenter Agent. The collection of data is managed by the WLA data collection polices. WLA collections contain performance statistics spanning a day, week, or month. There are also WLA collections for revolving or specified time periods.
You can analyze the performance collections from either the Performance Manager or from the Performance Manager Automated Reports
Performance Manager (PM) interface - Access to the historical performance archives and data collections is provided from PM. From the PM you can open the data view provided with the software, or you can create personal views that contain the specific data you would like to analyze.
PM Automated reports - PM automated reports present the historical performance data in an HTML report that can be accessed through your Web browser. The data that is included in the Web view is defined through the Automated Report Job scheduler, which is accessed from Performance Manager
Analyzing PM - PM is launched from the Console File menu, Launch > PM. PM provides you access to the Performance archives generated from the Workload Analyzere (WLA) Archiver. The Performance Archives contain historical statistical data for host, storage and switch agents
PM allows you to select specific items from the Performance archives to create data views. The data views are graphs and histograms of interval, daily, weekly, monthly or revolving performance data. The data views are opened, created and displayed directly in the PM interface. The data views are also used to define the content of the web views provided in the PM automated reports
PM also allows you to view the system configuration. You can view the configuration during a specific day or compare the configuration differences from one day to another.
