Error = 10060 in MGA.log
Hi,
I installed ECC 6.0 master agent on a windows 2003 server and started the master agent.
However, this host is not displayed in the ECC console.
When I checked MGA.log, i see these errors.
(1.24 MB) cecDataComm::Connect => Network error occurred. Failed connecting
- to application at XXXXXX:5799'. Error = 10060, A connection attempt
- failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or
- established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond...
I can ping the ecc server host from the windows 2003 server where i installed the master agent but, when I try to connect to the ecc server via remote desktop or map a drive, it fails.
Any idea, how to resolve this issue?
Also, both these hosts on different subnet.
Thanks in advance,
JRP.

Have you checked to see if there are any firewalls between these subnets? This really sounds like the problems we run into when we forget to open up the firewall ports between isolated hosts and our CC infrastructure.
