ecc console from citrix through firewall ports

I am trying to launch ecc 5.2 console from a Citrix jump server.Firewall ports 30760-30769 where opened and .ini file was edited to true for fixed port.Console launches but no login screen.Also the ecc server is not on the same domain(its in a workgroup)but I created a local user with admin rights to match my ad account.Any one have any ideas?

Hello,

we have ControlCenter 6.0, and we have the Console running via Citrix through a firewall (non-NAT).
It took us a few weeks to get this working, though. Make sure the ports are open in both directions (from Citrix Server to ECC Server and back). I think we also have ports 1521, 5799, and 10799 on the ECC Server open.
Run the console once in Citrix "Install" mode, so the ECC directories get populated. Then it should work in execute mode.

Hi mcjim,

Please check Knowledgebase article emc201198 as a starting point - I wonder if you're seeing the same symptoms in the consoleLaunch.log and the server.trc files.

Note that ControlCenter 5.2.x is End-of-Service-Life from Jan 31.
