ECC 6.1 UB8 installed as a VM? Anyone using this config?
We currently have ECC 6.1 UB5 running on a dedicated Windows 2003 server. As we are looking to migrate/upgrade to UB8, we are considering the VM "Small Environment" configuration as detailed in "Installing Ionix ControlCenter in a VMware Environment", Technical Notes P/N 300-006-787 REV A03 November, 2009.
Is ANYONE running ECC as a VM and if so, how well does it perform? Are there any caveats to be aware of BEFORE going this route?

we are running ecc 6.1 as a VM and have been for at least a year. I applied ub8 last fall with no issues and will be applying ub9 prob today. the VM is nice as you can take a snapshop prior to the patch application and revert if there's a problem.
We don't have any host agents applied in our environment as we use ECC strictly for array alerts, capacity reporting, and performance monitoring.
