ECC 6.0 VM Agent discovering ESX hosts with IBM Director Agents installed

I have already opened a case with Support regarding this, but I'm hoping someone else may have already run into this and found a solution.

One of the requirements for the ECC 6.0 VM Agent to discover ESX hosts is to be using the default installation of Pegasus and CIM. The IBM Director Agent installation replaces these with it's own installation. In our environment the Server Support team requires the IBM Director Agent on all hosts to monitor for hardware failures, so unless we can find a way to resolve the conflict we will be unable to have storage visibility into these hosts.

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else ever seen this issue?

It turns out the issue was with the configuration of the "read only" account the ECC VMware agent was using on the ESX server to access it. Once that got resolved everything worked fine.
