Discovering STK tape libraries in ECC 6.1

Hi,

We've just recently upgraded our ECC infrastructure to 6.1

In 5.2, I had to create and maintain the tape libraries manually.

Can the new ECC do it for me?

I have:

2 SL8500 libraries

1 SL850 library

2 PowderHorn libraries

I know that the backup team uses ACSLS servers to communicte with the libraries.

Can ECC do the same?

Please help. I'm tired of manual labor

If you can find a way to do this I would love to hear about it. I already approached our Sun reps to find out if there is some kind of SMI Provider available to allow me to discover our STK libraries (I've got SL85000s and an L700), but was told no. I got the same thing from IBM regarding our 3584s. I have been maintaining manual objects in CC as well, so I know your pain!
