discovering Brocade switches in ECC?
I'm trying to set up a within EMC Control Center a central fabric management area for my brocade SAN switches using SNMP V3.
I need to obtain the Auth (SHA protocol) and Priv keys (AES-128) from the switch to discover them in Control Center but I don't know where/how to obtain those keys.
Does anyone know how to discover Brocade switches into ECC or how to obtain these Auth and Priv keys?

Hi,
You can refer to these primus articles from powerlink, emc241281 and emc205400. If you have already tried these steps, I suggest you open a ticket with support.

I have moved this question to the Ionix Support Forum to ensure it gets the right audience in the correct Forum.

Hi,
Review Page 133 Plan for Brocade switch discovery within the 6.1 PLANNING AND INSTALLATION GUIDE available on powerlink for the information you require or link is also available from the product page https://support.emc.com/products/ControlCenter.
The exact section for Configuring Brocade FOS switches for SNMPv3 is detailed on page 156 to 158.
ControlCenter supports SHA and AES128 authorization only. If SNMPv3 traps are required, all Brocade switches in the fabric
must be configured with a username that supports SHA authorization and AES 128 privacy. Although Brocade allows authentication and privacy
passwords to be fewer than 8 characters, ControlCenter requires them to be 8-32 characters.
