defective EMC drive
this is probably not the correct place to ask this question - if anyone can direct me to the write place to ask, I would be very grateful.
less than a year ago, I purchased a DELL EMC EXOS X18 refurbished drive from Amazon. A few days ago, it just stopped working. I can no longer access the data on the drive and it won't erase either.
the serial number on the unit is ZR5A78XE.
Is there any chance I could get a replacement or a refund? It is still less than one year old.
Thanks very much for any feedback / suggestions.

Hello willfriedwald,
Have you tried to contact the seller to see what they would do? For DellEMC to replace the drive you would need to have purchased the drive from a DellEMC or a certified reseller and have an active warranty on your system.

@DELL-Sam L oh thank you for the response - I tried to go through Amazon and they told me to go to Dell!
isn't there anything that DELL can do?

Hello willfriedwald,
Which storage system did you purchase the drive for?

@DELL-Sam L I just was using it as an independent drive, working with my Mac system. (this is personal use, I'm not a corporation or anything...)

Hello willfriedwald,
You will need to contact the spare parts and that can let you know what can be done. What country are you located in?
