CRC Errors during ECC 6.0 to 6.1 upgrade
Has anyone encountered multiple CRC errors during the upgrade process? ECC is informing me that all the *.JAR files have CRC errors and I have to abort the upgrade. When that happens and I try another upgrade, I receve a "Copy of export file failed. Aboring upgrade" error during backing up the database and I am completely unable to move forward with the upgrade at all.
I am guessing that ECC is looking for something that was already changed during the initial upgrade try.
I am also assuming something is wrong with my media and I need to order replacement upgrade discs.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I have encountered this issue previously - CRC errors definitely indicate an issue with the media. Are you using the actual CDs or have you converted the CDs to ISO files? If ISO, then you may need to check the integrity of the files.
Obviously, if the CDs are corrupt then it's best to wait for a new batch to arrive from EMC...

I did upload the ISO image to a share and perhaps there was an error during the upload. My next question is, how do I restore ECC's 6.0 backup? I did the hotback.bat and copied the directory. Do I just copy the backupdirectory back over? If so, do I need to run another batch file to restore the configuration?
The problem is when the upgrade failed, ECC can't get past the database backup process.
Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest opening a ticket, as I do not feel comfortable in talking you through the process, when it's not clear exactly what sort of backup you performed before starting.
I recommend checking out kb emc195903, once you have got your 6.0 environment working, that way should you have issues again a recovery of the 6.0 environment will be alot easier.
Thanks

In order to revert to CC 6.0, you should follow the procedure on pages 56-59 of the CC 6.1 Upgrade Guide. Obviously not every step will be applicable as your environment is not actually at 6.1 at the moment.
Failing that, I'd recommend that you open a SR as Michael suggested previously.
