Control Center Console placement in VM'd infrastructure
Can someone give me a good reason why it may not be the best choice to place the ECC Console as its own virtual machine with the other ECC infrastructure components which are also virtualized w/CC6.0 or 6.1?
Is it really important to have more than one ESX server for redundancy with ECC?
Today, up to 24 VMs can be managed on 1 Blade ESX 3.5 server.
Lastly if the Policy Manager from ESRS can't be placed with ECC infrastructure on VMs, could it be placed on a VM with ECC Console?

Have you seen the Installing ControlCenter in a VMware Environment Techincal Notes doc on Powerlink? Does it help?

The Console is fully supported on a VM guest as per the latest 6.0 & 6.1 Support Matrices.
I've never had any issues running a Console on a VM in my own lab.
