Console after Windows 2003 SP2 update will not connect
Hi,
I`ve updated our ECC 6.0 server to Windows 2003 SP2. After reboot the local console only opens in taskbar without any window displayed. I`ve installed last concole patch 806 to localhost and now it works. But if I will use a console on a management host it will appear with following error message:
"The EMC ControlCenter server is not available"
Install last console patch doesn`t get a change.
I`ve used powerlink search without any answer. Update to 6.1 UB8 is not possible at this time.
Have anybody a idea to solve the problem?!
PS:
Firewall is disabled, connection to performance manager gui is possible
No Events found!

Hi,
I opened a SR and we found the error reason by a webex session.
After applying SP2 the network adapter binding order was changed. Infrastructure server is a multihomed server with two different network settings. After changing binding order it works ok now.
