Cannot start ECC Console and cause server service down
Dear All,
I cannot logon to ECC server and error messages as following:
1. Could not call the start method
2. The EMC ControlCenter Server service failed to start
ECC version is 5.2.0 Service Pack 5.
Could you give some points about this?

New license keys are required for CC 6.1.

Hi Dennis,
You will need to open a SR with Support for this issue. The console.trc, consoleLaunch.log, server.trc and alert_ramdbd.log files would need to be checked. There is no way of telling at the moment if it is a Server or repository issue.
Also, please keep in mind that CC 5.2 SP5 has been End-of-Service-Life since 31/01/09. You should plan an upgrade to the latest version, CC 6.1 Update Bundle 7.
