Can SCA monitor configuration files? Can it compare running vs boot config?

We're looking at leveraging Storage Configuration Advisor. I'm wondering about it's rule flexibility beyond simple pathing and zoning configuration. For example, could SCA monitor Solaris storage configuration files and ensure they are setup correctly? Could it compare the running configuration against the file (to determine if the configuration after reboot would be different and possible break the storage connection)?

I couldn't find any detail around what abilities exist in the product outside of the base templates, I'd assume this would be some custom rules, but it's not clear from the admin/user guide to what level customization is possible.
