can not see the SAN zoned storage

I tried to do the masking, the SAN zoned storage area is empty. There are few devices are using by the server now. But I can not mask the new device on the server. I tried restart the ECC Master Agent and Host Agent few times but that does not work. What should I do? Do I have to reboot the server?

The latest ControlCenter 6.0 Cumulative Server, Store and Console (Java All) Patch is available from Powerlink at the following location :
Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > ControlCenter v 6.x

Apply this patch and the problem will definitely been fixed.

Have you done masking in ECC for this host before?

The first thing I would check would be that the HBAs show up for the host. If you could provide more detail on the history of this host it might help.

And what version of ECC are you using?

Hello Amy

You need to have the SanManger license installed in your Control Center environment. Then install the SDM and FCC agent. The SDM agent is the one you need to perform the lunmasking and the FCC agent is the one to discover your switches and zoning information.

If these are installed then restart the SDM agent to see if that allows you to do the masking
