Brocade SMI Provider downloads from Powerlink

The Brocade SMI-S providers are no longer available in the ControlCenter Downloads area on Powerlink.

The Support Matrix directs one to Brocade's website to obtain the most current SMI-S providers:

I was afraid you were going to say that. I've tried three times now to get the new versions from Brocade's site and it fails every time. They have some kind of web scan technology that kicks in and eventually kills the download before it completes.

I can sort of understand why we are being redirected to Brocade for this, but on the other hand not so much. I bought the switches from EMC, I bought ControlCenter from EMC. I need this component so that ControlCenter can talk to the switches. Is there any possibility of revisiting having this critical component available on Powerlink again?

Please let me know who I could potentially escalate this request to.

I received a very quick reply - the Brocade SMI/EOS downloads won't be reappearing on Powerlink.  The reason for this is that EMC don't keep/maintain the provider - Brocade may change the URL or the SMI/EOS provider at any time and not inform us and then our information is not accurate.

Let me know if you need the latest exes/docs from the Brocade website - I can upload them to ftp for you when I'm back in the office tomorrow.

Thanks Seamus, I would appreciate that. The most recent versions of both the FOS and EOS SMI providers certified for ControlCenter would be wonderful. I can get the docs, I just can't get the install files (I think it's a size thing). They have them clearly identified on the site as to which ones are certified with EMC ControlCenter.

Got them!  Thanks again Seamus. I'm not sure why I can't get them off Brocade's site but I've asked my Brocade contacts to look into that.
