Best way to rebuild a ECC agent server
Hello,
I need to swap out a ECC agent server with new hardware. what is the best way to handle this in ECC. I am afraid if I remove the server from ECC then I will lose all of my discovered devices. If I don't remove the server from ECC first, the system will think the agents are aleady installed on the new server andrebuild refuse to reinstall them?
What should I do?

Hi Daniel,
Please do the following:
1) Stop the subagents and Master Agent on the server in question
2) Delete the host container in the Console
3) Deploy the new hardware
4) Install new Master Agent; the new host container will appear in the Console; thereafter, deploy subagents.
Deleting the host container in ControlCenter has no effect on the devices that the actual host can see.
