ARM and RedHat Linux for ECC 6.0

I have a new installtion of ECC 6.0.(6.0.0.0.310). Most of my hosts are RedHat AS 4.5 with a few Solaris 10 systems. While I can use ARM to allocate devices to Solaris 10 it is not currently supported for Linux. I find this strange since I'm not attempting any host commands I just want to build/map/mask a meta device. Anyone know when I'll be able to do that?

I just got the word the there are no plans to support ARM for Linux in ECC 6. Any other ECC/Linux users out there ?

Bit of a shame really, as the question certainly has come up a few times. Maybe with enough noise the implementation of ARM for Linux might happen.
