Alias old ecc to new
I have installed new 6.1 enviorment.Rather than touch each host to point to the new ecc server We where thinking of adding an alias record that points the old ecc server to the new.Then we would shut off the old server and when the host does it dcp it would point and register to the 6.1 enviorment.Thoughts?

Please reference the CC 6.1 Planning and Installation Guide Volume 1 A11, Appendix F, Upgrading Agents after a New Installation - this is the only supported method to upgrade pre-6.1 agents.
