Can you give some more information on this issue..
1.) Which version of ECC do you have and at what patch level ?
2.) Which OS is running on that host ?
3.) What is the make and model of an HBA ?
Make sure that C:\WinNT\System32 & C:\WinNT has been set in system environmental variables. You can manually associate the ports by following these steps, but it might gives you a problem in storage scope reporting.
Under unidentified port Right click on a specific wwn and select topology -->Associate port and the follow the wizard.

Please use Knowledgebase article emc74226 as your starting point for troubleshooting ControlCenter HBA discovery issues.
