Upgrade HDD (DELL Inspiron 1564)
I have been using Dell Inspiron 1564 (i5 core & 2.27 GHz, RAM : 2GB) for the last couple of years. It's HDD is 320 GB that does not seem to be sufficient for me. So, I have decided to increase HDD to 1TB.
1. Is it possible to increase the capacity with existing laptop configuration? Or what is the maximum limit that can be added with my laptop?
2. Will it deteriorate the performance?
3. Should I need to increase RAM as well? If yes, what could be a suitable configuration.
4. I have learned that HDD has 2 slots. So can I add additional HDD with the existing one in other slot?
It would be really helpful if you guide me so that I can buy the right configuration. Thanks in advance.

Hi Saadi,
You can replace your existing hard drive with any laptop (2.5") SATA hard drive. Your system does not support two hard drives, so the only option is replacement. This will not impact performance, nor do you need to add more RAM.
