SSD - HDD caddy upgrade boot issue

Hi, My laptop is Dell Inspiron 3542. It has 1TB HDD. I recently bought a 9.5mm HDD caddy and 250GB 2.5' SATA SSD. The plan was to clone the OS from HDD to SSD to speed up the boot. So I installed SSD into SATA slot in laptop and HDD into caddy. I didn't change boot priority in BIOS. When I switched on the laptop, it booted and I was able to login to windows. Now instead of cloning the OS from HDD to SSD, I reset the windows 10 installation  in setting -> recovery. After reset, when I tried to switch on the laptop again it was not turning on. The LED light to indicate power is blinking. Since the laptop is not turning ON, I can't even go to BIOS. Can anyone help me with a solution? Did I screw up my windows?
