Setting BIOS to recognize eSATA SSD

Hello folks,

First time to this forum.

I'm am looking for a step by step illustration to set my BIOS to recognize my SSD (a Samsung 840 PRO) via the eSATA port. (I have the cable).

I'm running an Optiplex 960 with Windows 7.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Does the BIOS recognize the drive for the eSata port? It should show up under external SATA for the drives listed, but unfortunately I have not seen a way that the system will allow it to boot from the drive. If you go into the BIOS can you force it?

Best regard,

Brad
