Replacing
l have a Dell Inspiron 15 3552 while running diagnostics it said I needed to replace my hard drive Dell-recommended replacing it with a solid-state drive so I bought a Dell 2.5in SATA Class Solid-State Drive 512GB. My question is will I have to re-install My Dell operating system and windows or will it already be on the new hard drive? The replacement is easy but I am not sure of the other. Can anyone help me with this?

No the new hard drive will be blank.
Options 1 : Clone the Drive : You will need a 2.5 inch External Drive connector like this to connect your new SSD and clone your old HDD to it. Once Cloning is completed remove HDD and install SSD
You can find hundreds of cloning guides and software on internet.
Option 2 : Do a fresh start. Make a bootable windows 10 USB using media creation tool
Install your new SSD, Reboot to F12 and boot from USB to install a new window.
