Recovery partition created after OS reinstall

I have procured PowerEdge R630 server and reinstalled the OS due to soome issues on the server. After reinstallation I can see a partition created with the name Recovery and it gets displayed as a hard drive in my computer. This partiiton has the boot files and now I would need to delete this partition on the server. Please help me on how to delete this.

If you want to get rid of the recovery partition, wipe the drive completely and reinstall.

Hi aba12,

What OS? Was the drive completely empty before you installed the OS?

The OS is windows server 2012 R2. The drive had the pre installed OS and I reinstalled the same version, so after reinstallation the old files were moved in windows.old folder.
